#7

Hello, again.

And so it happens that the new Sex and the City trailer has been released. I am as excited as the next female stereotype, having forked out to see the first one at the cinema FOUR times. I was in Cairns at the time, trying (unsuccessfully) to find a job. Cairns has very little charm, aside from a cinema, and (at the time) a closed 'lagoon'.. the maths here is simple.

The most exciting aspect of this trailer is Samantha's red outfit with silver shoulder pads, complete with spiked studs. I'm not over spiked studs, yet. I am still fairly angry with myself for not grabbing Louise Goldain for TopShop's spiked stiletto... and spikes will invariably be over soon. Like Breton stripes should be.

Went to see Kick Ass at the cinema on Monday. It was darker and far more gory than I expected. All done in a, naturally, comic book fashion. Sadly I've never really been a comic book fan, much to the adolescent part of my father's dismay. It was, however, an extremely accessible film (not an intellectual roller-coaster, if that's what you're after) so this didn't really matter. Also I find it sad that Aaron Johnson is continually going to be defined by being the father of Sam Taylor Wood's unborn child. Until it's born, when he'll be defined as simply the father of her child. Obviously.

No pictures because I've lost my camera battery, and haven't really left the house much lately. Can we, though, take a moment to celebrate Hugh Hefner's birthday. Which is today.

bisous
